Three problems related to accelerator pedal have been reported for the 1999 Oldsmobile Bravada. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving outiside of garage throttle was stuck and vehicle ran into the wall. Dealership was aware of problem. Dealer found carbon buildup.
When taking off from a stop at 60 mph, transmission slips and chatters . Also, when in reverse after applying the gas pedal, vehicle continues to accelerate two to three seconds, even with foot on the brakes. Consumer has contacted dealer.
When applying pressure to the accelerator engine took off and speeded up after foot was released from the gas pedal. Driver had to turn vehicle off while in drive. Dealer has not seen vehicle.
