Horn Assembly problems of the 1999 Oldsmobile Bravada

Two problems related to horn assembly have been reported for the 1999 Oldsmobile Bravada. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Horn Assembly problem

Failure Date: 07/03/2000

The horn has failed to work for the last seven month; on July 3, 2000, the gear shift lever remained stuck after starting the engine, preventing the ability to put the car into drive. The dealer fixed the problem. On August 3, 2000, the gear shift was stuck again. The dealer kept the car for a week fixing the problem. The car was returned on August 11, 2000; and that evening the gear shift was stuck again. This is a third incident in a month. The owner is unable to use the vehicle.

2 Horn Assembly problem

Design of the horn is very difficult to press to engage, requires excessive effort. Mjs.
