1 Underhood Wiring problem

Failure Date: 01/18/2002

Engine shuts down at high speeds, lost of power & steering. All dash lights and brake warnings on. Can ususally restart but speedometer and instrument panel unoperable. Couple of times the engine has raced at high rpms with no speed. Has been to the shop 3 times, new pcm (computer) has been put in twice. Have had a case number, said they weren't going to replace car, they were going to fix it and put in the 2nd pcm. On pins and needles waiting for it to shut down again.

2 Underhood Wiring problem

Failure Date: 08/20/2001

While driving at any speed, vehicle will suddenly stop. Consumer took vehicle to dealer, and dealer replaced computer. A month later problem reoccurred. Consumer is afraid to drive vehicle. Dealer stated the wiring harness needed replaced, consumer states vehicle has been okay so far.
