Two problems related to side/rear glass have been reported for the 1996 Oldsmobile Ciera. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
After vehicle was sitting overnight the rear window glass was found shattered.
Strut arms that hold the tailgate in position are defective, causing the rear windshield glass to shatter twice within a year and half apart. Defect could cause injuries.
