Carburetor problems of the 1997 Oldsmobile Cutlass

Two problems related to carburetor have been reported for the 1997 Oldsmobile Cutlass. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Carburetor problem

Without warning vehicle was overheating. Mechanic stated that a pressure test was given to vehicle, causing antifreeze liquid to flow through oil lines, and causing manifold intake gasket to malfunction.

2 Carburetor problem

Engine check light has come on 4 times, indicating something wrong with the engine. Dealer has seen vehicle 4 times because water builds up in the air pump. Dealer has replaced the air pump/ intake manifold and cleaned injectors. Still has problems.
