Tire Tread/belt problems of the 1999 Oldsmobile Cutlass

Orginal manufacturing equipment purchased on a Oldsmobile, Cutlass, 1999. Tire size unknown. Tire mileage 2,040. While driving 35 mph tread on left front tire separated. No injuries or collision. Consumer states she stopped for a red light and when she started to move forward she heard a flapping noise, the vehicle started to pull to the left, consumer pulled over and found the tread was completely off the tire, firestone, p215/60r15.

Vibration of front end of vehicle at 70 mph. Dealer evaluated & diagnosed problem as "tread seperation" of all 4 tires. Tires repalced by dealer. (dot number: na tiresize: 215/60/15).

Firestone tire experienced tread separation, causing damage to vehicle, firestone affinity touring t2, p215/60r15, claim 13-7112-321.

Pe00 020; consumer was traveling about 65mph on highway and vehicle was vibrating. She was able to pull over to the shoulder, and noticed that right rear tire tread separated from rim. Firestone affinity t2 26695gxbm10757-3, there were no injuries. Dot#w2mwaaa318 size p21560r15.

Firestone affinity tires p215/160r15 dot w2mwaaa488 experienced vibration and were noisy, all 4 tires were cupped from the belts inside the tires, tires were pushing in the middle face of tires, firestone would not cooperate with consumer.

The firestone affinity p215/60r15 tires are wearing in the center and slapping on the road since purchase of the vehicle, dealership will not replace the tires.

After having tires inspected, inspector notice all four tires have developed cracks on the inside and the outside of the tires tires are bad need replacing. Cracks in tire tread run around the circumference both from inside and outside.

The middle tread of all four firestone affinity tires (p215/60r15) experienced wear at only 13000 miles , the consumer replaced all tires.
