Intake gasket keeps breaking every 40,000 miles. I have had it replaced twice (once at 40,000 and the second time at 80,000 miles) and have been advised by the dealership that I will need it replaced again at another 40,000 miles. They informed me that it is a defect with Oldsmobile.

Vehicle has been experiencing ongoing problem with oil increasing (one quart) every 1500 miles while driving. Vehicle had been taken to two different dealers, and both have drained the oil/changed the filter, and replace oil. However, within 1500 miles of driving the oil continued to increase by one quart. It appeared no one could help on this matter; seeking help from NHTSA in this matter or provide additional information.
