The contact has a 2001 Oldsmobile Intrigue. The contact stated that the vehicle is experiencing the same accelerator problem that Toyota is having. The contact would like this investigated to see if this is a bigger problem. The dealer stated that it was the gas sensor failure that caused the problem. The contact was driving 35mph when the incident happened. The failure mileage was 107000. The current mileage was 110000.

Cruise Control problem #2

The headlights flickered while driving at night. This problems caused the cruise control to deactivate by itself while engaged, and turned off the air conditioner or the heater when operating. Vehicle had been to the dealer on four separate occasions. The dealer replaced several parts, and problem recurred.
