Car Will Not Start problems of the 2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue

The contact stated that also the security warning light would become illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was unable to be diagnosed however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was eventually repaired by a local mechanic. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 60,000.

Vehicle was parked for approximately 10 hours. Placed key in the ignition, all the dash lights illuminated however, vehicle would not start. Tried to start the car for approximately 15 minutes, after waiting a bit longer turned on ac fan, turned the key and vehicle started. Drove car to technician who was unable to duplicate the problem after seven days. Technician found a security error code in the computer, which he cleared out. Technician returned vehicle without repairs.
