Two problems related to fuel injector have been reported for the 1997 Oldsmobile Silhouette. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Battery has had to be jumped on several occasions without accessories being left, yet battery tests adequate at dealership. Fuel injector number one needed replacement at 33,600 miles.
The fuel injectors failed on three different dates: Feb. 18, 23 and March 8. Ta times while in traffic the engine completely dies. The fuel injectors have been replaced or cleaned 3 times, and the oxygen sensor has been replaced also.
