Side/rear Glass problems of the 1998 Oldsmobile Silhouette

Two problems related to side/rear glass have been reported for the 1998 Oldsmobile Silhouette. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Side/rear Glass problem

Failure Date: 02/12/2002

Back window exploded without any notice. Has not contacted dealer.

2 Side/rear Glass problem

Failure Date: 01/17/1999

Rear windshield-shattered after closing the passinger door and walking away from van. Pieces of the window flew on top of the van, just a little inside the van and then some to the ground. 60% of the window stayed in the frame but it was all broken.
