Fuel Injector Problems of Oldsmobile Silhouette

Driving at approx 25 mph and the car just cut off. Took car to bill estes Chevrolet. And they were not able to duplicate the problem, the service record reads as follows. Could not duplicate good fuel pressure good spark, no dtc's, no new pcm updates, no bulletins, test drove and could not duplicate. 2) having problems with hard start occasionally. . . Invoice from dealer reads as follows. Start up at times vehicle is hard to start seems to crank to long cause: 33 electrical all.

Battery has had to be jumped on several occasions without accessories being left, yet battery tests adequate at dealership. Fuel injector number one needed replacement at 33,600 miles.

The fuel injectors failed on three different dates: Feb. 18, 23 and March 8. Ta times while in traffic the engine completely dies. The fuel injectors have been replaced or cleaned 3 times, and the oxygen sensor has been replaced also.

While driving engine check light appeared on the dashboard. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection, and mechanic cleaned the injector. But problem recurred, and vehicle was taken to the dealer again. Mechanic determined that all six injector needed to be replaced.

I have had this vehicle since 3/99. In which time I have had to bring it back for transmission problems, electrical problems, leaking fuel injectors, brakes, non working cruise control which led to the dealer replacing the compressor. Front end leaked anti freeze which led to another major job. I am not a happy motorist here. The steering column squeeked. They greased it. Turned out there was a problem with the rackinpinion. I know something about cars and I know that for the amount I pay for this vehicle, I shouldn't be having these major problems. Bandade fixes don't cut it with me. Nlm.
