Defective auto jack. The consumer used the jack as instructed in the manual. As the consumer began to remove the wheel the jack broke and the vehicle collapsed suddenly. The consumer was able to get out of the way without being hurt. The consumer believes the jack is made of flimsy metal. The consumer returned the jack to the dealer who didn't seem the least bit surprised or concerned about the collapse of the jack. The dealer ordered a replacement jack.
While jacking the vehicle up the jack did not support the vehicle's weight and crashed to the ground. The owner confronted the dealership and the manufacturer but they both says the failure was not their problem.
