Traction Control System Problems of Oldsmobile Silhouette

Traction Control System problem #1

Left side brake / tail light melts. Bulb base melts then causes an open short. Bulb has been replaced several times. Last 3 to 4 months before failure (melted base) and bulb replacement. It also causes the traction control system (tcs) to show an intermittent fault or be inoperative.

Traction Control System problem #2

Abs and traction control stopped working and right front bearing defective. Wheel would have fallen off and braking was very hard. Would have caused an accident, injury, and/or death if continued to be driven before repair. Right front wheel hub bearing w/ abs sensor had to be replaced. Then again in December, 2006 and now may, 2009.
