Ignition Switch problems of the 1996 Plymouth Breeze

Two problems related to ignition switch have been reported for the 1996 Plymouth Breeze. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Ignition Switch problem

Ignition switch failed.

2 Ignition Switch problem

When car is placed in park, the key will stick in the ignition. Motor turns off, but inside functions stay on (mileage lights, radio/clock) and key will not turn all the way to take it out. After trying over and over, something will "give" in the ignition, and the key will finally come out. Also, when you lock the doors, sometimes the power lock motor will make a "groaning-whining" noise, and not all of the doors will lock. These problems have been going on since shortly after purchase.
