Four problems related to steering tie rod assembly have been reported for the 1996 Plymouth Breeze. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While parking at 3-5 mph vehicle lost ability to steer, dealer replaced tie rod end on both sides.
While making left turn at about 5-10 mph tie rod fell off, and vehicle skidded to side of road.
Left tie rod broke while pulling away from stop sign causing vehicle to freeze. Yh.
The front tie rod broke, resulting in a loss of steering control. Dealer and manufacturer have been notified.
