Two problems related to fuel hoses lines/piping and fittings have been reported for the 1997 Plymouth Breeze. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Replaced the head gasket. 5 days later engine caught fire. Private mechanic checked out what happened. He concluded that it was caused by the fuel line leakage or the wiring harness.
Consumer stated that the fuel line and the filter separated from tank, which stopped car and leaked gas.
