Hood Latch Problems of Plymouth Breeze

Consumer stated the hood latch popped, which caused the hood to pop up. Received TSB.

Hood latch failed while driving. Had to replace the hood and cowl panel and repair dents in the roof. Manufacturer denies responsibility. Build date on vehicle falls 9 days outide of manufacturer's recall on the hood latches. Body shop says that the vehicle does, in fact have a faulty hood latch.

Consumer contacted the dealer in reference to recall 97v095000, manufacturer's number 734. Dealer replaced parts on a number of occasions, parts replaced did not correct problem. Consumer still having problems with the hood latch. Please provide any further details.

Consumer received recall letter. Contacted dealer for appointment; dealer stated that no parts were available to remedy the problem (recall#97v095000) please give further details.
