Exactly as the recall is printed on your web page. You have my address wrong you added a 0 is why we never received recall letter until car already burnt up when fire department put it out they informed us of recall. So we looked it up on web site. Thank god my 17 yr old wasn't injured. She is still traumatized it was scary to her and I would of sued you if she was hurt but she wasn't so replace the money or the car thank you she earned it herself. Were honest people and want a resolution without it costing you court cost. I receive letters from attorneys in the mail offering to resolve the matter. Just do the honest thing,as the law states.
Approximately three weeks ago, after making a left turn, I noticed the steering wheel became difficult to turn. The problem would disappear after backing up. And was not always consistent. I brought it into my garage who checked the belts and fluid. They reported everything was fine. Yesterday (2/22) leaving work I was making a left turn out of the parking lot into the exit lane, and lost all steering ability. Another employee stopped to see if I needed help. When I told him I lost the steering again and asked if he could look. When I opened my door to get out, from his height he could see something sticking out underneath the clutch area. He reached down and saw that a chunk of the cloth mat had been sucked up into the steering column at the base of the floor and was wrapped freezing the steering. It took him a while, but he was eventually able to free it. Almost the entire, heavy cloth mat was a giant ball wrapped by the column. I was lucky that it happened on the company campus only moving a few miles an hour, and not up on interstate 78 I travel everyday at 55 miles an hour when the steering completely froze.
On 11/05/2003 my cars headgasket was going. I purchased my car on 11/14/2003 the car had 59,708. I only put on the car13,000 miles from the time that I had it. I did a carfax on the car and saw that on 5/02/2003 the car had 96,113 then on 8/06/03 it had 59,294 miles there was a 36,819 mile rollback. Now I need to know the true mileage on the car because if the miles on the car were turned back that means that my car has over 148,000 miles and my machanic said that being that the car was 7 years old that car would have over 148,000 miles. I need to know the true miles that were on the car when the first owner sold the car. Because im going to court due to this mileage problem. So if you could please help me with this mileage issue. Pleaseit would be vety helpful being the first owner was in new york . The dealership is giving me a hard time with the problem . I took great care of my car one month after I got the car I got an oil change then I got it flushed and filed w/ the oil change in March and every 3,000 miles after that. They asked me to bring the car to them on 11/08/2004. Apon doing that the car then died. Had the car towed from were I broke down. My car sat in the parking lot of the dealership for 2 days . They were to have someone look at the car . But instead they sent it out to get looked at . But instead they broke down my engine and I have not had my car for the last month next month will be 2 months . So could you please help me thank you very much.
My husband was driving down the street to school. He made it maybe 2-21/2 blocks down the road when he says he heard a little noise and the car stopped accelerating properly. Other vehicles began blowing thier horn at him and he had to stop the car, while sitting in the car he saw flames start coming out from under the hood. The engine caught on fire, no one seems to know why. The fire got pretty out of control, and the fire department put it out. Our car is destroyed. We have no idea why the engine caught on fire. It was suggested to us that there could have been a manufacturing problem, and maybe our car could have even been recalled. We are trying to find out every thing possible about what could have happened yesterday morning.

Brakes needed replacing 4 months after buying car. Dealer said was not under warranty. Had complete brake job on front 2 times, 1 on rear, cylinder replaced, shoes replaced, brakes still do not work properly, something comes loose if pressed suddenly causing car to slide and not stop. Pads have been replaced numerous times due to quick wear out. Accident could have been avoided if brakes worked properly. Car does not stop efficiently. Also, engine head gasket was replaced under warranty. Engine has been leaking oil again since 7/98. Dealer maintains that I will have to repair because out of warranty. Oil light does not work to warn when oil is low. Constantly adding oil to keep at proper level. Parking brake has been adjusted several times but does not stay long. Fuel gauge gives inaccurate reading. Appears to be empty when not. Air conditioner quit month before car accident in 8/99. Was repaired with collision repairs. Repairs reveal prior accident before buying car. Was not notified of this. Have spent too much money on this car in two years for car to be as new as it is. There are other defects that will be reported on an additional form.
Steering locks up due to floor mat grabbing steering column from floor base because it is all open. Dealer notifed, and informed consumer that nothing could be done because of the design of the vehicle.
Low oil pressure indicator failure. Suggests factory defects and/or design deficiencies. Slow oil loss from small hole in oil pan over period of at least 6 days failed to activate warnings prior to engine seize up. Est 3/4 qt oil remaining after engine seized but warn lite did not come on until engine stopped. Veh was in busy traffic when engine unexpectly and abruptly stopped and would not restart. Oil pan failure resulted from scraping contact over time with road surfaces on dips due to pan design and lowness of veh the pan has a lowerd detent just before drain plug which appears to be first point of impact when dips are encountered. Repeated contacts did not damage overall pan but left unprotected the detent which scraped or wore thru metal and allowed oil leakage. Oil pan should be strenghtened or protected at that point to preclude reoccurrance. This failure in concert with oil warning lite failure causing vehicle abrupt stoppages in traffic could result in serious accidents with accompaning p.
The head gasket of my 1997 Plymouth Breeze is leaking oil from the head gasket. This is not a new problem and should have been reported earlier. When I first told the dealer about it he told me it would cost @$200. Needless to say it has continued and I wondered if there was a recall dealing with this problem.
The check engine light illuminates, indicating malfunction within the system cause unknown. Dealer cannot identify the problem.
Dealer contaced on all occasions. Dealer encouraged me to drive car with a cracked head gasket and stated no damage would occur until part came in. Dealer checked seat lunging forward and stated that is how it is made. Dealer states he cannot hear rack and pinion noise from steering column. Dealer stated failed brakes are wear and tear. Must wait 5 weeks for an egr part to come in since they are in such high demand and on backorder. Do not buy this car. Manuracturer does not stand by their product.
Engine light failure.
Head gaskets have blown out and are leaking oil into the engine compartment. Also, engine check light keeps coming on. Dealer has not seen vehicle.
Engine check light had came on ,and vehicle kept losing power due to a blown head gasket leaking oil. Dealer replaced head gasket twice before. However, engine is losing power again.
