This is definitely a safety defect as the horn doesn't work at all! Chrysler/Plymouth says is isn't a safety defect. How can this be, when you can't use the horn, the air bag won't work. That's not a safety defect?! the average cost for this repair is $250 - ridiculous! Chrysler to date has sold over 124,511 replacement parts for this clockspring assembly. I would say this is quite a profit for a defective part. Again, I think this is definitely a safety defect and Chrysler should recall it! I'm hoping you can help with this problem. Thanks!.
Airbag light had come on, also horn stopped working. Had clock spring assembly replaced.
