The contact owns a 1998 Plymouth Grand Voyager. The contact stated that while driving at 15 mph attempting to accelerate, the vehicle failed to accelerate. In addition, the fuel gauge gave an incorrect reading. Upon further inspection, the contact noticed that there was fuel spewing from the fuel rail. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic, who diagnosed that the fuel rail needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact was aware of NHTSA campaign number: 00v268000 (fuel system, gasoline) however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 241,338.

When van was hit by another vehicle, on the passenger's side at a high rate of speed, there was no deployment of the passenger's front air bag. Also, horn does not work, remote entry on driver's side door does not work, air bag warning light stays on, fuel gauges does not work, a/c heater blink on and off,inside dome light blinks on and off, steering column freezes, cruise control works on and off.
