Door Hinge problems of the 1996 Plymouth Voyager

1 Door Hinge problem

Failure Date: 07/20/1998

Owner's 7 year old daughter's leg was badly cut due to the passenger side sliding door not locking in place. The very sharp anchor that holds the door to the vehicle is what caused injury.

2 Door Hinge problem

Failure Date: 07/07/1998

While driving sliding door on the passenger's side popped out. This happened 5 times in three weeks. Van was taken to the dealership. Problem could not be duplicated.

3 Door Hinge problem

Failure Date: 12/30/1996

Sliding door hinge failed.

4 Door Hinge problem

Weather stripping (door moldings) came loose on both doors.

5 Door Hinge problem

Worn sliding door stabilizer sockets, failed left side upper hinge.
