Front Suspension Strut problems of the 1996 Plymouth Voyager

Four problems related to front suspension strut have been reported for the 1996 Plymouth Voyager. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Front Suspension Strut problem

Failure Date: 03/15/2004

Consumer took the vehicle to the dealership for inspection, and mechanic determined that strut tower housing corroded.

2 Front Suspension Strut problem

Failure Date: 07/22/2003

The consumer stated the strut towers were rusted. Dealer notified.

3 Front Suspension Strut problem

Failure Date: 11/01/1997

Transmission replaced by dealer for free on 5-1-97, struts replaced 11-1-97 for 616. 01 by dealer, windshield wipers come on when not in use, cylinder head leaking oil 4-3-99.

4 Front Suspension Strut problem

Vehicle was taken to dealer for some repairs. While there, consumer was told that the strut towers were rusted. Also, was told not to drive vehicle. Please describe details.
