Three problems related to other fuel system tank assembly have been reported for the 1996 Plymouth Voyager. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer parked the vehicle and shut it off. Then consumer came back to the vehicle and noticed that it was on fire from under the rear of the vehicle. Consumer called the fire and rescue departments to put the fire out. The fire department informed consumer that the fire started from the fuel tank.
The gas gauge indicator reading is incorrect, the gauge reads less fuel in the tank. The sending unit was replaced. Also, when traveling the rear window shattered, causing the glass fragments to enter the passenger compartment. In addition, multiple electrical problems, causing inside/accessory lights and windshield wipers to come on by themselves.
The consumer has experienced the following problems. Transmission failure, fuel rail line and tank. Clockspring, head gasket, and the wipers will come on when not in use. Scc ph.
