Brake Electric Antilock problems of the 1997 Plymouth Voyager

Three problems related to brake electric antilock have been reported for the 1997 Plymouth Voyager. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Brake Electric Antilock problem

Failure Date: 01/07/2002

While driving about any mph could step on brake pedal to reduce speed or to stop vehicle, but the pedal will go always to the floor, and brakes will not work sometimes. Please provide more information.

2 Brake Electric Antilock problem

Failure Date: 12/11/1998

In icy conditions with temperatures approximately 10 degrees f, brakes did not activate without excessive pedal pressure apparently due to failure of power assist. This happened twice within 24 hours during a trip to flint, mi. Upon returning to virginia, the vehicle was taken to greenbrier Chrysler-Plymouth, who inspected and advised that they were unable to duplicate the failure.

3 Brake Electric Antilock problem

Failure Date: 01/01/1998

Brakes will not stop vehicle. When applying pressure to the pedal, vehicle will not give driver full capacity to stop. He has notified the dealership, not manufacturer.
