Brake Master Cylinder problems of the 1998 Plymouth Voyager

Three problems related to brake master cylinder have been reported for the 1998 Plymouth Voyager. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Brake Master Cylinder problem

Failure Date: 09/12/2003

When applying brake, the brake pedal went go all the way to the floor. Dealer inspected the vehicle and could not duplicate the problem, however the consumer replaced the master cylinder and vehicle is worked properly.

2 Brake Master Cylinder problem

Failure Date: 06/19/2001

While driving, brakes failed, the brake pedal went to the floor and there was very little stopping power, dealer stated the master cylinder failed and replaced the unit, consumer is concerned that this component failed with such low mileage.

3 Brake Master Cylinder problem

Failure Date: 07/01/1998

Brake pedal reaches the floor when brake is applied because the master cylinder failed. Yh.
