Door Latch problems of the 1998 Plymouth Voyager

Vehicle was shooting sparks from under the dashboard on the driver's side. Then, the brake lights and the dashboard lights could not be turned off. Mechanic had to turn the lights off by disconnecting or touching a wire. The ses light remained illuminated while driving. The horn stopped working. The brake light became stuck and the brakes felt spongy. The interior lights failed intermittently. The rear door lock wouldn't work with the key. The right rear wheel bearings were noisy. One of the front tires had cord separation.

Windshield wipers turn themselves on/off intermittently and without warning. Occasionally windshield wipers will not turn on when engaged by driver. Consumer feels that body control module is faulty. The radio was inoperative, the brake light on the dash board does not illuminate, the emergency brake switch had to be reconnected consumer was unable to open doors from the inside. *akjlg.

While driving driver's side center van door opened without warning. Consumer very concerned about children's safety. Vehicle was checked by dealer.

Intermittently when alarm system was engaged. Power door locked, causing the consumer to be locked in the vehicle and unable to get out. Dealer was notified.

The sliding door on the passenger's side will not open from the inside or the outside using the key or the remote. The door was repaired once by the dealer. Owner is experiencing same problem again.
