Front Air Bag problems of the 2000 Plymouth Voyager

1 Front Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 10/09/2007

The contact owns a 2000 Chrysler Voyager. While driving 25 mph, the front air bags deployed without warning or an impact. A police report was filed. The driver was rushed to the emergency room because his eyes were burning and his vision was limited. The vehicle was towed to his residence. The current and failure mileages were 110,000.

2 Front Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 07/15/2004

Voyager 2000, VIN#1p4g45g5yb527003, about July 15, srs light, cruise control erratic and eventually ceased to work, horn does not work, it is apparent symptom of clockspring. Contacted Chrysler and this vehicle is not under recall. Which I believe it should be. Now my horn, cruise and srs soes not work.

3 Front Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 06/08/2003

While the consumer initiated a right turn at a stop light the vehicle suddenly went to full throttle and would not respond to the brakes. Two avoid oncoming traffic the driver steered the vehicle into a gas station driveway and hit three yellow barricade post which tore off the right front wheel. Then the vehicle hit chain link fence which stopped it. The engine continued to race therefore the consumer had the battery disconnected which stopped the engine. The consumer stated that neither of the frontal air bags deployed. The occupants sustained fractured ribs, a punctures lung, bruised knee and bruised chest.

4 Front Air Bag problem

Consumer stated vehicle hit a guard rail and went into a revene and neither air bag deployed. Please provide any additional infomation.
