1 Power Window problem

Failure Date: 09/13/2004

Driver's side and passenger's side electrical windows rolled up and down on their own. Consumer smelled smoke from the vent area. Drove vehicle to dealer for inspection, and mechanic determined that the main steering column for the windows needed to be replaced.

2 Power Window problem

Failure Date: 04/14/2001

While driving 65 mph vehicle suddenly downshifted a couple of gears, went from 65 to 35 in a matter of moments. Vehicle experiences a loud thump in the engine compartment, dealer has not been able to correct problem. Malfunctioning electric door locks. Malfunctioning electric windows. Incorectly shifting transmision. Keyless entry failure. Dash gauges fail. Poor gas mileage. Wind whistling through failed window seal.

3 Power Window problem

Front passenger side window glass slid down into the door. This was caused by a failure in the electric window motor. The part could not be replaced due to a 1800 part back order, per dealership.
