Consumer states that after they brought their vehicle to the dealership to have the recall done for fuel leakage, the dealership stated that they had to order a special part to complete the recall and they will call the consumer when they received the part. The dealership has not gotten back in contact with consumer, and the vehicle is leaking fuel. Ts.

3 Speed Control Linkage problem of the 1998 Plymouth Voyager

Failure Date: 05/08/2001

Throttle linkage cable became frayed and stuck within the sheath. Engine remained at high rpm, making it difficult to stop or turn. Almost went through the back of my garage trying to stop. Very unsafe situation which should be investigated and a recall instituted. High possibility of injury or death.

4 Speed Control Linkage problem of the 1996 Plymouth Voyager

Failure Date: 07/09/2000

While driving cruise control kicked in, and the brakes had to have extreme pressure applied in order to slowdown. Vehicle had to be turned off, and then back on in order for cruise control to disengage. Dealer said it was the servo cruise control cable. Vehicle was fixed. Rear brake drums had to be turned because it was affected by the heat while trying to stop.

5 Speed Control Linkage problem of the 1996 Plymouth Voyager

Failure Date: 08/20/1999

While backing slowly into a driveway vehicle suddenly accelerated, causing the vehicle to back spin over some private property and into another vehicle that was parked. Dealer has been contacted.

6 Speed Control Linkage problem of the 1996 Plymouth Voyager

Failure Date: 11/11/1995

Fuel overflow and filler neck is leaking. Tt gasoline leak from feul return line near gas tank, leak apparently at fill up, gasoline tank replaced with attached fuel return line, binding throttle linkage reported to dealer, repair attempted throttle linkage still binds after warranty service.
