1 Other Fuel System problem of the 2024 Porsche 911

Failure Date: 01/20/2026

Woke up one morning and noticed a very strong gas smell coming from the car while driving with the windows down, even at low speed. Once I noticed the smell I stopped driving and exited the vehicle and again noted the very strong smell. I immediately took the car to the nearest Porsche service dealership in beverly hills. The repair was covered by warranty, and the issue was found to be due to a leakage from the fuel supply line that runs from the fuel tank to the engine. This is a very serious issue that I find dangerous had I not immediately noticed. The part was replaced with the same component, not a better version (as Porsche has not manufactured one). I was told this same issue has occurred with similar cars of this make, model, year.

3 Other Fuel System problem of the 2021 Porsche 911

Failure Date: 09/18/2025

Two separate instances of fuel line failure and fuel leak in the engine compartment. The first in March 2024 and the second in September 2025. The situations both resulted in fuel leaking on top of the hot engine components. Repair requires removal of the engine and transmission. In 2024 repair time was 9 weeks, in 2025 - 3 weeks. In the first case service was covered under warranty, the second partially covered by extended warranty. Repair costs approximately $6,000 per occasion. Leaking fuel on a hot engine clearly created an unacceptable hazard. The vehicle was serviced, and the defect confirmed, at Porsche of fort myers (florida) on both occasions. Evidence of the problem was identified via fuel smell only - no warning messages in the vehicle occurred.

4 Other Fuel System problem of the 2022 Porsche 911

Failure Date: 08/08/2025

Metallic fuel line located on top of the engine suddenly started leaking. Previous time I drove the car there was no indication of a gasoline leak or odor. There were no warnings or indications of an impending leak until gasoline was emitted from the line. Fortunately when the leak started I was only driving locally and upon returning to my house a raw gasoline odor was apparent at the back of the car. Had I been driving up to monterey which is a 6 hr. Drive I’ve done several times before a gasoline leak over the engine would of likely caused a fire that would have been extremely hazardous. The car was towed into the dealer as it was not even safe for a 5 mile drive. The dealer reported they are seeing many cars with the safe defect. Also this issue has been reported on rennlist a Porsche enthusiast car forum. Https://rennlist. Com/forums/992/1444916-gas-smell. Html the dealer corrected the problem and the manufactured is aware. Fortunately for me it occurred before the warranty expires in a few months otherwise the repair cost would of been $12,000 as they must drop the entire engine to access and replace this line.

5 Other Fuel System problem of the 2022 Porsche 911

Failure Date: 07/21/2025

String gas odor while driving. Upon inspection it was determined that a fuel line was leaking on top of the engine which requires an engine out repair. There are several other people discussing the same issue of rennlist. Com a Porsche enthusiast site. Seems to be a problem.

6 Other Fuel System problem of the 2022 Porsche 911

Failure Date: 11/22/2024

A leak in a high pressure fuel line was releasing gas on top of the motor. I smelled gas, and had vehicle towed to the dealership where I purchased the car. The dealership has confirmed the cause of the fuel leak and ordered the replacement fuel line. Since it’s a leak in this fuel line, no check engine lights or other warnings flagged the problem. In my opinion, this is a significant safety problem that could lead to a fire and potential injury.

7 Other Fuel System problem of the 2022 Porsche 911

Failure Date: 11/01/2024

Massive fuel leak. Appears to be fairly common amongst other owners. Required engine out to repair.

8 Other Fuel System problem of the 2021 Porsche 911

Failure Date: 01/29/2024

The fuel injection problem on cylinder 2 and 4 had injector electrical faults for the last two years resulting in reduced power warning. I finally took my car to the dealer for an analysis. After their analysis here is their statement on the service invoice: "client state check engine light comes on and vehicle will run rough - client scan for codes and had codes p0202 & p0204. Cylinder 2 and 4 fuel injector electrical faults. After updating dme software, clearing faults and test driving, mil illuminated again. Quoted fuel injector replacement. Due to the large amount of labor required for replacement, all 6 have been quoted to circumvent a potentially bad batch and to prevent a re-visit to replace any additional injectors at a later date. " I had to pay almost $11,000 to replace "bad batch" injectors on a car that has only 13,455 miles. If they are "bad" injectors, is this a wider problem than my vehicle?.

9 Other Fuel System problem of the 2023 Porsche 911

Failure Date: 10/01/2023

Check engine lights, engine control module, erratic idle, p0089 check engine light code. Maybe unsafe to operate & stall?.
