2 Car Stall problem of the 2014 Porsche 911 Carrera

Driving normally. Loss of power. Message indicated reduced engine powe ok to drive. Tried to pull over to shoulder. Car stalls in middle of high traffic high speed highway. Smoke appeared. Could not get out of car for fear of being hit. At same time worried about being rear ended. Smoke thickens. Flames out of engine compartment but I did see it. Almost rear ended. Person stopped and got me out of the car. A minute later flames build and penetrate fire wall. Quickly spread to interior and the car was engulfed in flames. 1 minute more in the car and I would have been burnt or dead. Shamed if I was rear ended. Dangerous and traumatic.

The consumer stated that the 2004 Porsche 911 Carrera stalled while driving 10-20 mph. The vehicle has been having problem for over a year. The vehicle was taken to the dealership several times. The dealer could not find the cause of the problem. The dealer changed the spark plugs, but the code showed that cylinder six was faulty. The problem seemed to be intermittent. The dealer has had the vehicle for over ten months. The manufacturer has been contacted, and they put the vehicle in diagnostic testing, and the problem has not shown up with any explanation.
