Tl- the contact owns a 2004 SAAB 9-3 convertible. The contact was inquiring about a recall NHTSA campaign number: 10v043000 (seat belts) and stated that the VIN was not included. The contact also mentioned that he's experienced the problem that was listed in the recall. The manufacturer was notified. The failure mileage was 112,000. Jr.
2004 9-3 convertible, aero. Had developed a sound from the fan behind the glove box. Usually begins to get louder when a/c is on. Taken to my local dealership where I informed it was normal "wear & tear. " cost to fix was estimated at 500. 00. This is my third SAAB convertible and it's only problem after 100, 000 miles.
The keyless entry and alarm system have not been working. They started slowing down in working, but then the keyless entry module (the actual key) just stopped. I changed the battery on the key, yet it still does not work. This has been going on for so long.
