1 Ignition Module problem

Failure Date: 09/04/2009

Wheel lock ignition module malfunction. This is the error that occurs on sid. The wheel lock release will not function correctly and the key will not start the car. Occasionally, it will take 30 minutes for the wheel lock to release and allow the car to driven. Typically, this code occurs during the summer months when the humidity is high. Reading through the SAAB owner websites, this appears to be a common issue.

2 Ignition Module problem

Failure Date: 02/06/2007

-the contact stated that after driving his 2006 SAAB 93 (6300 failure mileage) approximately one (1) mile and stopping the vehicle, turing off the power, the vehicle would not restart. The vehicle had to be towed to a dealer. The dealer stated that "each trip the vehicle had to be driven more then ten (10) miles in order for it to restart appropriately. ".
