Tl-the contact owns a 2004 SAAB 9-3. The contact stated that while at a stop sign the odor of burn oil where emitted inside of the vehicle and around the engine. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the valve cover gasket leaking but that was not the failure. The vehicle was repaired. However, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 117,000. Aw.
