Low beams flash on and off while driving. They do this on smooth and bumpy roads, and while sitting at stop lights. Sometimes only one goes out. Some times it is the right one, and sometimes the left, but so far it has only been one at a time for any length of time. Turning the lights on and off makes them both come on for a short period. Then on goes out again.
The contact owns a 2007 SAAB 9-7x. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 12v406000 (electrical system, visibility) several months ago and stated that the part needed was not available within a reasonable timeframe to schedule the recall repair. The dealer did not give a specific date for when the part would become available. The contact stated that while traveling, the low beams failed to work. The dealer indicated that they would be able to repair the vehicle with a replacement part until the part for the recall repair was available. The contact was waiting for the appointment to remedy the failure and was unable to verify when the new part for the recall would be available. The approximate failure mileage was 60,000.
Vehicle power windows, seats, seat heat stopped working. Windows have gone up/down uncontrolled when keys are not even in the vehicle which is very dangerous. Gm says that this condition is a fire hazard and do not park in a garage, but are dragging their collective feet in fixing this problem!!!! this vehicle is unsafe to put my family into, I just want it fixed now!!!!!.
