Wiper Problems of SAAB 9-7x

Tl the contact owns a 2007 SAAB 9-7x. The contact stated that upon starting her vehicle, a flame emitted from the driver side door panel. The flame then dissipated as white smoke began to emit from the driver side door. The contact exited the vehicle from the same and retrieve assistance. Her CO-worker were able to assist her in removing the door panel off the driver side door. The contact was not injured as a result of the fire. The police nor the fire department were notified of the failure. The dealer nor the manufacturer had been notified of the failure. Upon investigation, the contact discovered that her vehicle had been included in NHTSA campaign number: 12v406000 (electrical system, visibility). The vehicle had not been repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 228,000.

None of the drivers side front electric is working, air suspension died, no low beam.

The headlights will go off while driving. I was driving out of my gym parking lot at 10pm. On a icy night. They will not turn back on. However the highbeams, fog lights side markers work. Very dangerous and safety is definitely at risk not only for myself but for my children. There is a recall for this on the 2006 model. Someone may have recieved the wrong information or disregarded the numerous complaints of this model as well. This requires attention ASAP.

Tl-the contact owns a 2007 SAAB 9-7x. The contact stated that while driving approximately 30 mph, the vehicle's headlights burnt out. The failure recurred on one occasion. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 12v406000 (electrical system , visibility) and stated that the part was not available within a reasonable time frame to schedule the recall repair for longer than a year. The dealer did not give a specific date for when the part would become available. The manufacturer was contacted and could not provide an estimated date for when the contacts vehicle would receive the recall repair. The contact was experiencing a progressing failure in which the drivers side electrical control panel failed to work. The approximate failure mileage was not available. Parts distribution disconnect. Dyd.

I purchased this vehicle in clark county indiana in 2011 the month of may. The original bill of sale was in the car from 2006 where it was sold from a SAAB dealership in fisherville indiana. My driver side door as of September 2012 started making a burning smell and all of a sudden nothing on my driver side door works window switch mirror control and the heater button on the door will no longer work. I keep getting a smoke smell off and on since last month!!.
