general problems of the 1997 SAAB 9000

Two problems related to vehicle speed control have been reported for the 1997 SAAB 9000. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Vehicle Speed Control problem

Failure Date: 03/09/2004

While at a stop vehicle revved at a high rate. Consumer switched to neutral/shut off vehicle to temporally stop the problem. On one occasion consumer had the vehicle towed. Dealerships mechanic tried to repair vehicle 3 times, but did not resolve the problem.

2 Vehicle Speed Control problem

Failure Date: 01/14/1998

Turbo apc solenoid valve failed. Yh.
