1999 SAAB 9-5 has a faulty master cylinder, and vacuum booster which both had to be replaced at owners expense. In the past the consumer had to replace the water pump. Heater fan motor, thermostat. Leaky sunroof, battery, battery cables and numerous light bulbs.

Defogger problem #2

Failure of climate control system prevents heated air from reaching the driver's side windscreen -- no defrost. Replacement part sold only as entire assembly ($2,000) plus 14-18 hours labor=$3,000+. No other option for proper operation of defroster system.
