Purchased a 2008 Saturn Aura xr fitted with goodyear ls2 p225/50r18 tires. Car/tires has 4,000 miles, noticed a sidewall bulge on one tire. . Took car to goodyear dealer, manager stated bulge due to high impact damage. I don't know what his definition of "high impact is"? vehicle has never been off road conditions, only normal city driving. Vehicle has never exceeded 45 miles per hour (to date). . . Never hitting hole/holes to cause damage. Very concerned about quality and/or defects in tire. . .
Service traction control/esc light comes on intermittently brake light stay on constantly go off when brake pedal is tapped!!!.
I purchased a set of four new kumho tires; the next day while accelerating after a full stop at a yield sign, the driver side front tire suddenly decompressed. The wheel cover broke and traveled accross the road into a field. The tire bead apparently unsealed. The car stopped safely and there is no other damage other tan the tire and wheel cover.
