The contact owns a 2009 Saturn Aura. While driving at any speed, the brake lights remained illuminated when the brake pedal was not depressed. In addition, the cruise control would not engage, the traction control warning light illuminated, and the remote starter would not work. The vehicle was repaired in September of 2014 per NHTSA campaign number: 14v252000 (electrical system, electronic stability control, exterior lighting, service brakes, hydraulic, vehicle speed control); however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The VIN was unknown. The failure mileage was approximately 165,000.
There are 4 recalls out for my car, and I have never received any letters to get the work done. The summer of 2013 the car stalled on me and I had to get it towed and pay to replace a wiring harness. I'm not sure if this was due to a part that was recalled or not. If it is, I would like to know if I can get refunded for it. Also, right before winter 2013 my remote starter quit working; the engine light is on; I'm getting a false warning light for the tire pressure; I have heard a bing noise like the door was open because I was using the turn signal when driving; my left front door speaker comes on whenever it feels like it; the lights have blink on and off and my car almost wouldn't start. I think all of this might be an electrical problem. Please contact me and/or send me a letter about getting recalled parts replaced on my car. Thank you.
