The locking mechanism for the doors was locking and unlocking as I am traveling. This also happens when the car is parked.
On July 14, 2014, interior door locks stopped unlocking and locking. Car is parked in the garage and is intermittently locking by itself. I am reluctant to drive because I don't want to get locked in this car. Based on the comments on the internet, this is a common occurrence with this model car. Please advise.
Power door locks fail to unlock. This is now the second time this has happened. First occurrence it was fixed under warranty. Power door lock mech fails to unlock on door, this will sometimes cause door to not unlock. Concern is in a accident, you may not be able to exit car. Manufacture seems to know this happens.
Rear passenger right side electronic door lock intermittently does not lock/open. Usage of manual lock/unlock latch on door is required.
The locks continuously lock and unlock themselves; the emergency brakes when activated sometimes still roll.
Passenger side door locks. First the front door lock actuator open circuit. At 50,079 miles Nov 2012. Now at 60,000 miles the rear passenger door lock actuator has failed. If manually unlocked it will not lock with the fob or power door switch. If locked it will not unlock.
Right rear lock stopped working, replaced it, then left rear stopped working, now drivers door locking part time, so that will soon stop. On 5/25/14 when driving on highway entire instrument panel stopped working. After key was turned off and removed it reset. Thank you.
I came out to get in my car this morning and thought it was strange my husband had not closed the driver side door. I got in and closed the door and it popped open, it would not latch. I tried numerous times and check to see if anything was preventing it from latching and could not find anything. I pulled it shut and manual locked the door and it stayed latched. I drove to work, got out and shut the door with no issue. I got in the car again, no issue. Got out, would not close, so I pushed it shut and locked with remote, is stayed latched, then I tried to get back in, using the remote, the lock inside the door popped up like it had unlocked, but the door would not open. After 4 attempts I got it to open. Got in and drove, got out, door would not close. Have an appointment to have it looked at tomorrow. I don't feel safe driving if the door could pop open at any time!.
Vehicle power door locks do not operate unless the car is being shifted in or out of park nor does the key fob work. Vehicle was taken to gm dealer and I was told they could not find a verifiable issue with the door locks. I have been locked out of the vehicle several time because there have been moments that the doors lock on their own. The dash lights also dim on their own and the chime no longer sounds when the doors are opened.
Rear door lock unlock mechanism malfunction. Locks but won't unlock and will not open from the inside. In the event of an emergency someone can get stuck inside the car because the door wont open. And no, the child safety lock is not engaged.
Rear right door electric lock control inoperative.

My wife had her coat caught in the door after she exited and the car began to move away. When the car is in drive, the door cannot be opened from the outside. She lost her balance and fell, losing her balance, broke her wrist. She could not open the door because it was locked automatically. . The car is a 2009 Saturn Aura. The manual says that automatic locking of doors is programmed and can't be changed. This is not safe!! she could have been thrown under the car.
About every 3 or 4 months, the hood latch releases from the primary and only the secondary latch is holding the hood close. I don't notice this until at highway speeds I notice the hood fluttering in the wind. I've leased the car for about 7months and this has happened may be 2 or 3 times.
