One problem related to trunk lid has been reported for the 2006 Saturn ION. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The contact owns a 2006 Saturn Ion. The vehicle would not shut off and the contact disconnected the battery. The following morning, the trunk that housed the battery would not open. The vehicle will be towed to the dealer. The current and failure mileages were 44,000.
