The contact stated that the part was not available to repair the vehicle under NHTSA campaign number: 14v153000 (steering). In addition, the vehicle was previously repaired under NHTSA campaign number: 14v047000: (air bags, electrical system), but the failure recurred. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 140,000.

The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was a 103,000.
