Windshield Problems of Saturn ION

The contact owns a 2008 Saturn Ion. The contact noticed that the front windshield had cracked. The manufacturer advised the contact to take the vehicle to the dealer for inspection. The vehicle was not repaired or inspected. The current and failure mileages were unknown. The VIN was unavailable.

Knob for the defroster/air/heating failed to work. Switch doesn't change it to defrost/front/floor like its suppose to. It just comes out front,can't switch. Doesn't clear windshield of frost,ice,fog,etc.

Purchased vehicle new as a demo, told there was 'minor panel damage but fixed like new" found out car was in chain reaction crash both front and rear. Body and frame still not fixed, keeps cracking windshields now ignition system has failed. Read many other problems with same issue from year 2000 and up on the car. Needs to be a recall or someone needs to pay for this junk car besides me. Starter would stick in after starting car, took it to the dealership 3 times but they could not "reproduce" the situation, therefore would not repair. Now look where I'm at.

Temperature control knobs don't rotate and it restricts the air flow preventing the car from defogging front windshield, drivers side and passenger side windows restricting visibility making the continue operation of the vehicle unsafe.
