One problem related to owners/service manual has been reported for the 2000 Saturn LS. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Both left and right front brake wear pad indicators failed. The indicators failed to perform as stated on page 326 of the vehicle owners manual. Specifically they failed to five an audible warning sound that the brake pads had worn out to a dangerously low level.
