The contact owns a 2001 Saturn l200. The contact stated that while driving 35 mph, the vehicle suddenly accelerated. The contact stated that he was able to stop the vehicle by shifting to neutral. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where they were unable to duplicate the failure the first time. The failure occurred a second time and the dealer stated that a faulty idle air control module was the cause. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted.
