Side/window Air Bag problems of the 2002 Saturn LS

Two problems related to side/window air bag have been reported for the 2002 Saturn LS. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Side/window Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 02/28/2009

2002 Saturn l200 hit on drivers side front and rear by a large 4 door truck and side air bags did not deploy . Driver hit head on driver window , 2 passengers hurt necks .

2 Side/window Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 08/09/2003

Consumer's vehicle went over a bridge when it lost control and hit another vehicle. Then, it hit a wall sideways. Side air bag on rear passenger's side did not deploy. Dealer notified.
