Brake Disc Pads problems of the 2005 Saturn Relay

1 Brake Disc Pads problem

Failure Date: 04/06/2015

Repeated problems with abs & t/c warning lights, brakes seized up was unable to move van had it towed to a shop, t/c engages without any adverse weather or road conditions. I have spent over $2000 trying to repair the problems. Brake pads wear down quickly, replace brake pads twice a year since having the vehicle.

2 Brake Disc Pads problem

Failure Date: 08/13/2005

The contact owns a 2005 Saturn Relay. The contact stated that the passenger side electric door does not latch properly. As a result, the door opens while the vehicle is moving. He took the vehicle to the dealer and they re-adjusted the door striker. Immediately after the repair, the failure recurred. Secondly, he noticed excessive vibration when depressing the brake pedal. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer and they machined his braking system. After the repair, the failure recurred. The contact took the vehicle to another dealer and they replaced the brake rotors and pads. The contact called the manufacturer and they referred him back to the dealer. As of August 7, 2008, the dealer has not successfully remedied the failure. The failure mileage was 23,000 and current mileage was 48,900.
