One problem related to steering linkages has been reported for the 1997 Saturn SC. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Threads stripped between the inside and outside tie rod on drivers side causing complete loss of steering. Had this happened at speed it would have caused a serious injury or fatality. Dealer is investigating the cause.
